Ride along in a 1929 Ford Tri-Motor airplane
The EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) brought it's restored 1929 Ford Tri-Motor airplane nicknamed “The Tin Goose,” to the Concord Regional Airport Thursday, May 31, 2012, and is offering rides to the public. Rides are available May 31- 2 to 5 p.m. and June 1-4 – 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Video by Davie Hinshaw - dhinshaw@charlotteobserver.com

Additional Info for Mac users: If you do not see video (after clicking 'allow'), do the following:
  1. Click on the blue "gear" icon in the lower right corner to bring up the settings window.
  2. Click on the webcam icon.
  3. If you are using a built in iSight camera, choose USB Video Class Video from the pulldown menu. You should see video immediately.

  4. Click "close" button.
  5. Record! You must record at least ten seconds before you can stop.
