Obviously, these kids have never paid a power bill. They'd be begging for the cheapest fuel possible.

It's obvious that RUDY has never had mercury poisoning, doesn't appreciate clean water or air, or has never seen the top blown off a mountain, or he would be out there protesting at Duke Energy too!Yes, we do pay our energy bills and are horrified that Duke is still supporting the coal industry, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS CLEAN COAL! We need to start funding cleaner, renewable energy sources such as solar, tidal and wind power if we want our children and grandkids to grow up mercury-free breathing clean air and drinking clean water. If everyone in NC cut their energy consumption by a little bit (unplug appliances when you're not using them!) then Duke wouldn't need to spend 1.8 Billion on expanding their power plants. The choice is yours, decrease energy consumption and demand clean renewable energy, or have kids born with severe mental defects from mercury poisoning (coal plants emit 40 percent of the mercury released in America)
